In this unit, we will learn about taking care of pets, farm animals, and zoo animals. We will learn how they grow and change.

ATTRIBUTES - The children will learn to notice, describe, and compare shapes, colors, and sizes of objects. They will identify circle, square, triangle, and rectangle.

QUANTITIES - The children will count 1 - 10 objects.
POSITIONS AND DIRECTIONS - Identifying position and direction, modeling the meaning of position and direction words, and using strategies and skills to solve problems are emphasized during the math lessons.
PATTERNS - Students will explore patterns by identifying, extending, and creating patterns.
Measurement - Measuring length, height, weight, and capacity, as well as ordering lengths will be emphasized.
Data and Graphs - The children will learn to gather data, record information on a graph, and gather information from a graph.
ADDITION - Students will make sense of additive situations to find the sum of two parts.
SUBTRACTION - Students will decompose numbers to find the difference.

The children will learn that Jesus died on the Cross on Good Friday, but rose from the dead on Easter Sunday.
