Lent
Lent is all about preparation. We prepare our hearts and minds for Good Friday and Easter, those days that mark Christ's passion and then his victory over death.

This Sunday, we hear the Gospel of the Transfiguration. This vision is granted to three of Jesus’ closest followers just before Jesus sets his face toward Jerusalem and the death that awaits him there. For us, Jesus, bathed in light as he speaks to his Father, is a sign of the resurrection that awaits us if we listen to Jesus
and follow his way.

Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
